Qld Public Interest Law Clearing House Inc - (QPILCH) is are a not-for-profit community based legal organisation that coordinates the provision of pro bono legal services for individuals and community groups. Please phone 3358 5600 or call in to the Centre to make an appointment or come on the day if available.

The New Farm Play Group


The groups are registered with the Playgroups Association of Queensland and all families are required to become a member of the Association upon joining. From babies to toddlers (0 to 6) most welcome. All enquiries can be directed to the Centre on 3358 5600.  The Play Group meets as follows:

  • Monday 10am to 11.30am

  • Wednesday 10am to 11.30am

  • Cost is $2 per week

Women Friendly Thursdays @ NFNC


Both Men and Women welcome but reception will be staffed by Women Volunteers, FREE (broadband) computers in the Community Office (9am to 2pm)  will be reserved for use of women only and The Women's Craft Group will meet in the Community Room every Thursday from (10am to 12 noon). Painting, Knitting, Sewing, Macramé and Pottery and more with Liz. Please just come in or telephone the Centre (Transport is available) please ring 3358 5600.

New Farm Neighbourhood Centre has been "working with the community towards social justice, diversity and inclusion in Brisbane's inner city" since the early 1980s!

New Farm Neighbourhood Centre is wheelchair accessible .. a safe place for lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, trans-gender and intersex people... the Centre supports justice for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians and welcomes people of all cultural backgrounds.
