Politics in the Pub – Towards Zero Homelessness

Politics in the Pub – Towards Zero Homelessness

Over 100,000 Australians are experiencing homelessness.

The next Politics in the Pub will tackle this issue head on by challenging the very idea of overcoming homelessness. Can we truly end homelessness or do we need to accept it as an inevitable part of Australian life?

There are limited resources to address homelessness and our panellists have strong views on where these resources should be allocated. Are mobile support services necessary? Should we throw everything we’ve got into building thousands of new homes for those experiencing homelessness?

Join us at the Powerhouse on 13 February for a robust debate around these controversial ideas and more. Following the panel discussion will be an opportunity for you to pose your questions directly to the panel.

Politics in the Pub is a free, Q&A style debate which tackles the most pressing contemporary issues for both Australia and the world.
