Politics in the Pub: Masculinity

Where: Brisbane Powerhouse
When: February 12th
Commences: 6pm-8pm
Cost: FREE

Our first Politics in the Pub for 2019 kicks off on February 12th with a conversation about masculinity. Join us as we seek to answer the question: Is masculinity in crisis?

For many, it feels like expectations for men are shifting at a fast pace. What does it mean today to be a man at work, at home, and in your relationships? How do we influence one another, and the next generation of boys, to be good men, and just what does being a good man mean?

On February 12th, these questions and more will be addressed by a panel of experts from a range of disciplines. Following a panel discussion is the opportunity for the audience to pose their questions directly to the speakers.

Politics in the Pub is a free, Q&A style debate which tackles the most pressing contemporary issues for both Australia and the world.

Admission is free, but we would appreciate you registering your interest in attending via the Eventbrite link. Please also join the conversation on the Facebook event.

We are so grateful to the Patrons of New Farm, My Village News, and the Brisbane Powerhouse for supporting this free community conversation.
